This is a fantastic early bottle produced by the Larkin Soap Company of Buffalo, NY. The bottle is 2 colors . The top is aquamarine blue. The base is a green blue or teal color. The base bottle and the top fit perfectly and is obviously the stopper for this bottle. It is very attractively designed. It has a glass stopper with an oval shaped top. The stopper has the company’s monogram on both sides. The monogram was used around 1905. The bottle tapers slightly from the top to the footed bottom. I have never seen this bottle in this color coordination it may be in error bottle. I have only seen this bottle in the emerald green color. The front of the bottle reads “Larkin Soap Co. Buffalo” in raised letters.
The bottle measures approximately 4” high and 1 ¾” by 1 3/8”.
This may have been a smelling salts bottle. The bottle is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks.
