This delightful vintage figurine from the Occupied Japan era (1945–1952) features a young girl tending to two geese, a beloved subject that reflects the European pastoral influence popular in post-war Japanese ceramics.

Each piece from this period was hand-painted by Japanese artisans under Allied occupation, marked “Made in Occupied Japan” to certify export origin. Mark: “Made in Occupied Japan” stamp on the base

Date: Circa 1945–1952

Material: Hand-painted porcelain / bisque finish

Height: Approx. 6.5–7 inches

Condition: Good vintage condition with typical wear from age and a few minor paint losses (notably on the girl’s sleeve). No major cracks or breaks visible. Displays beautifully.

Style Note: Strongly reminiscent of early Goebel Hummel designs, especially “Goose Girl”, which
