Vintage Mary Green Black Silk and Beaded Beautiful Nightgown Hollywood Glamour

I remember buying the day I bought this, trying it on in this wonderful lingerie store in Islington. I was engaged and I was getting my custom made wedding shoes from the girl upstairs Emmy, Autumn Kelly got her shoes from here when she married Peter Phillips, it felt so unbelievably special and the lingerie shop underneath was very glamorous, I wonder if Autumn purchased anything from there too? When I tried it on in her beautiful store I felt like Grace Kelly, it was the epitome of old-school Hollywood glamour. I have listed it as vintage because it just comes under that twenty years category, I purchased it in the early 2000's. We have since learnt that this is all on-trend over in LA, wearing nightgowns and petticoats as dresses. The silk is very soft and it drapes beautifully, as you can see from our photographs it was a beautiful sunny day. The label is Mary Green. I paid a lot for this gown. I think they had this brand in Anthropologie too. This would be a super comfortable night gown albeit very special and a great holiday dress too, if you dare! Lightweight for your airport travel luggage allowances. Thank You.
