This nightdress has not been over used. I bought it 30+ years ago and now it’s time to say goodbye. The silk is sublime and the lace is also silk. Each button on the side is silk covered. If I was younger (much) I would wear this as a dress in summer. Unusually these days, this nightdress was made in England so the buttons are very well sown on. It is a think of quality and beauty that I have treasured rather than worn.
